Ok, so I got marrired and I got fat....I broke the 200 lbs mark and am fed up with it. i am dedicating myseld to the next 12 weeks. My goal is to lose 25 lbs to get back around 175. I am excited about this program and can't wait to hit the gym. basically I am going to throw out the old eating habits, get off the damn couch and start getting back into shape. I have taken some before photos and will post those once I can get the courage to show my fat body to everyone. I will take pictures once a week on Sunday morning. hopefully I can show some improvement by week 4. My goals are to lose 25 lbs, gain muscle, and look better in a swim suit before I am through with this. I will make this a daily update of my progress to help track what I am doing.
Day 1: just got aworkout in today, did lower body workout, my legs are a little sore but I could have done better. I didnt really understand the program, but now I got it and will hit the weights harder next time.
Day 2: Have a 20 minute high point cardio workout to do today, basically that is starting out at a level 5 intensity run for 2 mins, then increase to lvl 6 intinsity for 1 min, then to lvl 7, 8, 9 back to 6....I will continue this pattern 3 times, between the 18th and 19th minute I will try to go from lvl 9 intinsity to a lvl 10 intinsity and hold it for 1 min. This explains the cardio in a nutshell, I am anxious to try this to find out what my threshold is. I hope to be able to run in the Peachtree road race by the time this is over
Meal 1: Egg McMuffin (homemade) Coffee and water
Meal 2: Meal replacement Bar (MRB) hopefully I can find somthign to replace the replacement bar...they are $$$ so would that be MRBRM? and of course water
Meal 3: Turkey sandwich, apple, and water
Meal 4: MRB & water
Meal 5: Spicy Steak, small sweet potato, broccoli (sp?) and water
Meal 6: Mixed nuts (6-8 nuts) water
Say goodbye to diet coke during the week, Sunday will be my free day and I will consume my diet coke then,the sweet necter of the Gods.
